We have just completed a wonderful workshop with the City of London Festival, to create a short film and a trailer for to showcase the festival. The animation will be showcased on the 4th July at St Paul inside a gigantic Bowler Hat Theatre, accompanied by a selection of short animation handpicked by the London International Animation Festival
Two groups of students from City of London Academy Hackney and City of London Academy Southwark have worked over several weeks with leading digital animator, Kim Noce from Quirky Pictures Animation Workshops. Together, they have used software to create a 2D computer animation, illustrating the fascinating history of the bowler hat. The students come together for a screening of their work, which will be shown alongside several award-winning short animations from the London International Animation Festival (LIAF).
LIAF is the UK’s largest animation festival – proudly showcasing the whole spectrum of creative animation, showing that animation is for everyone.
